Atomic Redster C9 Carbon Uni

The Redster C9 Carbon is a light and stiff racing ski at the top of Atomic's lineup for all-around high-performance waxable classic skiing. It features a race carbon construction that delivers precise kick throughout the pocket and a firm carrying camber to maximize gliding. The C9 Carbon also features the Shift-in binding system so you can simply reach down and move your binding for more kick or more glide at the turn of a dial.

Race waxable classic skis require kick waxing in the kick zones to generate grip.  We use the weight entered above to mark kick zones with .2, .4, & .6 on the ski sidewalls.  These measurements help apply wax from the range .2 (colder hard waxes) to .6 (warmest klisters).  Glide zones require hot waxing to maintain top performance.  Liquid waxes can be used as a supplement or a top coat but will not replace hot waxing.  It is common to get a grind on new race skis, all ground skis will ship with base hardener ironed in unless additional wax service is purchased.
