Waxable classic skis require kick waxing in the kick zones to generate grip. We use the weight entered above to mark kick zones with a H (hard kick wax) and K (klister kick wax) on the ski sidewalls. All skis perform best when glide zones are maintained with glide wax applied as a liquid or with an iron. Liquid glide wax is simple to use and only requires a brush to buff out excess wax. Hot waxing with an iron is more durable and can increase the performance of your ski.
