Fischer Speedmax Helium Skate 61K

The 61k mold is now available with the Helium construction, featuring added carbon to reduce weight underfoot. This enhancement has been proven to provide exceptional glide and performance, on par with the legacy Speedmax models. Additionally, the 61k is particularly effective in warmer or softer snow conditions, surpassing the performance of the Skate Plus model in the right conditions. 

Race skate skis require hot waxing in order to maintain top performance.  Liquid waxes can be used as a supplement or a top coat but will not replace hot waxing.  It is common to get a grind on new race skate skis, all ground skis will ship with base hardener ironed in unless additional wax service is purchased.
