The RCS Classic ski is one of the most well-known waxable classic skis on the market for a reason. With rock-solid kick and excellent glide performance, the RCS is a great mid-range classic ski with world cup performance.

Race waxable classic skis require kick waxing in the kick zones to generate grip. We use the weight entered above to mark kick zones with .2, .4, & .6 on the ski sidewalls. These measurements help apply wax from the range .2 (colder hard waxes) to .6 (warmest klisters). Glide zones require hot waxing to maintain top performance. Liquid waxes can be used as a supplement or a top coat but will not replace hot waxing. It is common to get a grind on new race skis, all ground skis will ship with base hardener ironed in unless additional wax service is purchased.

Pioneer Midwest ships via UPS and USPS. We try our best to get orders out as quickly as possible. Some products may take longer if there is a high volume of orders or if there are added shop services.
