The Speedmax 100 702 model is a new variation of the famous 902 model that has been around for years. The 702 has longer contact zones and a lower camber height, making it the ideal option for colder/hardwax conditions. This model can be a go-to race ski for skiers who prefer to have an easier kicking ski or a specific hardwax ski for a more experienced racer.

Race waxable classic skis require kick waxing in the kick zones to generate grip. We use the weight entered above to mark kick zones with .2, .4, & .6 on the ski sidewalls. These measurements help apply wax from the range .2 (colder hard waxes) to .6 (warmest klisters). Glide zones require hot waxing to maintain top performance. Liquid waxes can be used as a supplement or a top coat but will not replace hot waxing. It is common to get a grind on new race skis, all ground skis will ship with base hardener ironed in unless additional wax service is purchased.
