The Tar Series kickwaxes are best in new snow. The tar additive will help prevent icing which is common with newer snow types. The tar red is one of the better around 32 waxes and will work as the temperature goes from below freezing to above freezing. The track must have a glaze to make this wax fast. Similar to 30GB from Rex or VXPS from Rode. Suggestions for binder would be a standard base wax without any klister additive like Rex Base, or Vauhti GS Base AT because of the new snow.
