The Atomic Redster Skintec is the top model for classic skiers who prefer not to use a ski with a waxable kick zone, featuring high-performance waxless technology.

The new Innowave Core offers a combination of strength, lightness, and efficiency. With each kick, it generates a dynamic rebound and delivers added power with every stride. The Redster C9 Skintec features thicker and denser sections of the ski, designed to optimize downforce during kicking and lift the skin during gliding for immediate acceleration and increased speed on downhill and flat terrain. Skintec technology ensures optimal performance in any snow condition without the need for waxing, while the 100% Mohair skins can be easily exchanged in seconds.

Race skin skis perform best with a clean/treated skin and glide waxed an iron.  Skin cleaner removes dirt while skin care improves the performance of the skin.  Glide zones require hot waxing to maintain top performance.  Liquid waxes can be used as a supplement or a top coat but will not replace hot waxing.  It is common to get a grind on new race skis, all ground skis will ship with base hardener ironed in unless additional wax service is purchased.
